Enough is Enough.

People are hurting in this city.

Affordable housing is an oxymoron. Too many young men are having their dignity denied when they're stopped and frisked simply because of what they look like or where they live. The fight is too uphill to save a hospital, and the struggle too hard to educate our kids.

These issues are serious, and finding solutions is critical. But right now the conversation in this campaign is neither serious nor critical -- it's a joke.

My fellow candidates and I have a duty to present you with our vision for leading this city. We owe you an honest presentation of how, if given the opportunity to become your mayor, we'd address the issues that affect your daily lives -- how you find a job that pays a living wage, how you educate your kids, how you find a home that you can afford.

You deserve to know how we would use the power of the office to make life better for people in all neighborhoods.

But the sideshows of this election have gotten in the way of the debate we should be having about the future of our City.

Enough is enough.

Stand with me now by demanding that Anthony Weiner withdraw from this race, for the good of the city that I know he loves as much as all of us. You can add your name to our petition — so we can have a serious debate — by clicking the link below:

The kind of New York we live in and our children live in will depend on what we do now and for the rest of this campaign. I'm proud to be running to become your mayor, and I'm humbled to have you on my side.
