NEW YORK – Bill de Blasio’s campaign for Public Advocate today raised the bar on fundraising and petitioning, announcing that it collected $221,570 in contributions in its latest filing, more than it has raised in any previous filing. The campaign has raised a total $243,615 in matchable contributions, which currently makes it eligible to receive approximately $1,461,690 in public financing.

We must quickly develop an aggressive and comprehensive plan to address unemployment in our City, and give this massive problem the urgent attention it deserves. Department of Education Triples Number of School Recycling Coordinators after Requests from De Blasio
